I bowhunted all of archery and gun season this year but the last weekend of hunting season I picked up my Model 700, 30-06 and shot a 3pt mulie. Next month its going to be an 870 wingmaster connecting with a Tom.

I hunt some with a bow, but mostly with a gun, and muzzleloader. My rifle is a Rem. model 700 7/08 cal. I shoot handloads nosler balistic tips
with 44 grains of powder. My muzzleloader is a TC Blackdiamond 50cal,
with a 209 primer, but no scope.

Both --- I love early archery season but when it's time for a rifle, I like a .30 cal. --------- I've got a 30.30, .308, .30-06, and a .300WSM and use 'em all depending on where I'm hunting and how far I expect the shots to be.
