Default Building your own game camera

A local magazine published an article on how to build your own game camera. Has anyone tried this before? If so, how difficult was it? How much did it cost to buy the parts? How well did the pics come out?

Any help you guys and gals can provide would be great.

Thanks,
Mike

You can buy one at Walmart ( Photo camera) for $129.00 does a great job only downfall is battery life about a week but like to check it every week any way. Pictures are great..

I built one this past spring (actually my son-in-law and I each made one together) and they work pretty well. We used the plans and ideas thanks to the guys here at this web site:

http://www.jesseshuntingpage.com/homebrew-cams.html

Its not to difficult to build one other then a little careful soldering and a little thought process in making a box to put it in. They can be built for less then $100.

I have a few of the pics I have gotten here:

It's funny you guys mention Jesse's site. It's the same one that is qouted from the article.

I checked the site out and it appears that the camera he used is no longer being manufactured. Have any of you tried using a different camera?

Thanks,
Mike
