No, son, it was outlawed so the State could collect revenue. Ding Ding ding ! We have a winner ! Anytime theres money to be made the state is quick to hold out there hands. What do you think license plates, drivers licenses, marriage licenses, hunting licenses, fishing licenses, etc etc were created. REVENUE my friend, thats all. This is why I also believe hunting will never be outlawed, the state would be cutting their own throat of a lot of revenue. And its not poaching when your doing it for survival. The game wardens know this and thats why they turn their heads in cases like this. |

i think this sould stay at the top lol but i thibk poaching is ok if u are feeding your family it isnt poaching it is SURVIVING

Lost my good job, unemployment ran out, got 2 part time jobs for minimum wage, and tried to go to school at night to better my education. Don't tell me about all the **** assistance that you can get, tried that, they said I made too much **** money to get any help. Barely made enough to pay my bills, with nothing left for groceries!The way I seen it at that time, the government didn't give a **** whether my family starved or not, so I didnt give a about killing some of their animals so we could eat! Hunted just what we needed to live on and let the rest walk. Anyone who has never been there, doesn't know what they would do.I was raised that God and the welfare of your family comes first. I guarantee that you would starve to death before you received any government assistance, if you were lucky enough to receive any at all, and had to wait on their 2 month or more waiting list! Government assistance isn't handed out to the working man trying to make a living that has fell on hard times. It is given to the lazy S.O.B. that is 21 years old and doesn't feel like getting a job! Just had to vent!![:'(] this guys has his mind strait he knows what it feels like my mother workes with the gov. she says that some people have to wait a year befor they can get any help benifits these are usaly middle age people that have jobs or got laid off but when i was growing up my grandpa used to hunt deer year roud to feed his family because the goverment turned me down some people have there heads in there lil life they think what the are saying is right but it isnt i know of plenty of wardens 1 of witch i am friends with he hunts at out camp says he has calls of people shootin deer or bear outa season so they can feed there family and he turns his back cause when he was growing up he knew how it felt cause he was there some people have their heads to fair up there ass to see what is realy happening the goverment might not even help so u have do do what it takes to survive![:'(]  |

all the state wants is our money that is why we cant hunt year round they pick alil time slot witch in mass u cant hunt on sunday so working men have lets see ummmm.... saterday to hunt

I just read a thread by CLINT. What is a RED NECK?
Red necks believe in the TEN COMMANDMENTS. One that is, thou shall not steal! POACHING is stealing! Why can't you wash dishes somewhere? Why can't you find a horse stable and shovel some CRAP? Why can't you sell aluminum cans? If you are a fellow hunter and I knew you needed meat for your family, I would give you every thing I have in the freezer, like my hunting friends would do for me. If you got caught poaching and the fine is $500 dollars/30 days in jail how is your family going to eat? Think Partner. think real hard. Man how talks by YARD and thinks by INCH,should be kicked by FOOT!!! KEEP ON ROOTING!!! |

You guys don't think hunting seasons were established because unlimited hunting might just decimate the animals we hunt?
