Default My first deer.

Jus got the woods pictures back from a freind. This was my second season. I hunt MA. I shot this doe on opening day of shotgun season. The hole you see in the photo is the exit wound. I shot here at about 45-50 yards and hit a lung and the heart, she ran about 20 yards and was down quick. She weighted 118 dressed out. I'm proud of her, even though people round here who dont know much about hunting rag on me for shooting a "girl".

Here she is.....
had to share with all you because alot of the posts on here have helped me and got me more excited for hunting.
Thanks all.

Jim

Congrats on the deer. Some people may rag on you for the deer, but than again those same people usually don't have one in the freezer, unlike you. It always feels good to have all of your efforts and time spent pay off with an animal.
