this is a really weird question so here it goes. if your out in the woods hunting deer and you put a piece of gum in your mouth will the deer be able to smell it?

I would think they would be curious to the smell if anything. Not stupid to ask really. I though of that myself this morning while chewing cinnamon gum in the stand. I spit it out and watched it fall anyway. Then I didn't worry about it.
