how long do you wait til you go out and check your roll of film and get it? I waited a week, went out and opened it up, assuming it was empty...and ruined the film.......BAH. Waiting another week and gonna go and hit the auto rewind button 10 times before opening it up.

it's hit or miss for me. sometimes the camera goes off 60 times in day other times it sits a week and only goes off 3 times(like this week).

Last week I droped off my camera sunday afternoon and picked it up tuesday morning to see this.

the bad thing is I only have 24 exposure film. another good reason to go digital.

once a week. My advice is change the batteries before rewinding. It seems to work better

I usually wait a week and then check it.Make sure you hit the rewind a few times before opening it and add batteries if it sounds like it's just bogging down.
I got a digital trail cam for X-Mas and put it in the woods last week on some corn.Got 108 pics man I was excited.Started looking at the pics everyone was coons.Sometimes like 5-6 coons in a pic.Sure was bummed that I did'nt see no deer but it was still kinda cool seeing the coons anyway.
Just thought i'd add that.

I got a digital camera this fall and it has taken over 1600 pictures. It is still out in the woods. I will probably never use my 35mm again. Imagine how much I would have spent on film and processing on 1600 pictures.
