I finally got my first deer Friday.I actually ended up with two does.Perfect timing to because it was the last of our doe days.I shot the first one and she dropped in her tracks.The other one ran straight to my me and I got her to stop and took her as well.The first one was a good size and the other one was pretty small.I've had a pretty tough season but this certainly made up for it.I had a slug miss fire on a doe and missed a buck earlier in the saeson.Made up for them all in one day.Neither had a rack but they sure were a trophy for me.I got to learn how to feild dress and such so all in all it was a good learning experience.Hopefully I can get one with some antlers now.

Congrats on your two does.Our season ended yesterday Jan 9th.Between the two of us on our lease we ended up with 3 each.. The last few days of our season we both lost a deer each.His was a big doe and mine was a spike.A month earlier I lost a nice buck.It sure wasn't because we didn't look for them.If we could have found those two and the other I lost earlier we would have had 9 for the season which wouldn't have been to shabby.
