RE: *read please*bad rep.
I don't see anything wrong with moderate consumption of beer or its advertisement. The abuse of alcohol is where the problem comes in.
I have never seen the actual comparison, but I bet it is more harmful to your body to eat two big Macs everyday than it is to drink two beers. |
RE: *read please*bad rep.
after thinking about this i dont think that john q public connects the two-
i actually like those big orange signs on the bars to remind people that hunters and hunting are here to stay, they couldnt enforce prohibition either-too many people wanted it kinda warped huh?? |
RE: *read please*bad rep.
if they start givin a discount to men in camo then I will give em my business!!!!!
No in all seriousness up here in MA (eastern anyhow) there isnt much like that. I am freinds with a guy that teaches the hunter safety course around here and he tells people to try and not go into packys in camo or go anywhere with a dead deer in the truck, cuz it just gives the antis something to Bitc$ about. I dont know what alcohol consuption has to do with hunting but if these people want to advertise to hunters then I guess it's their right. Ultimately it's up to the individual hunter to decide if he wants to patronize these places. As far as ciggarette ads, yeah, they're advertising is geared toward the younger generation because all their older customers are dying of cancer. What a shame. It wouldn't bother me if they banned all alcohol and tobacco ads but then that's just my opinion.
