Default deer lures/cover scents?

Just curious if you guys use them, and if so, what are you using?

You can't eat what you miss!

Wildlife Research Center's Excite & Trails End 307 about 15 yards from stand. Prime Time Interdigital on a drag to my stand...... This draws them and pauses them for me..

All i do is try to stay scent free. I use the detergent and body soaps by hunter specialties. i use the scent eliminating spray. and i use the earth wafers. as far as deer urine havent had any success with it so i dont waist the money. I just try to stay scent free and undetected.

Ohdeer I have to ask,so how do you collect the urine?I've always wondered about that.

Hunting is not a sport,it's a lifestyle.

i use the hunter specialties no scent clothes wash and the body soap and gel. others that hunt with us dont use this stuff and i always see more deer than they do.
i also use wildlife research centers special golden estrus and have had really good luck with it. it really brings the bucks in...

I shot a 178 lb 7 pointer last year. I had 5 tinks scent bombs hanging on tree limbs 25 feet apart and used tinks #69 doe in heat scent on them. The buck came in grunting on a steady pace, you could tell he was excited until my .308 said hello to him. He was about 20 feet away from a scent bomb when I decided he was too close to it to let him come any further.

I'd say that there is a short window (2-4 days) when you can use these scents effectively. It is the few days right before the bucks start hooking up with does. You may get a few curious deer come in to it, but for what the sex lures are supposed to do, it doesn't work ALL hunting season.
