here is a pic of my best friend and his oldest son Dalton Cook with a brute he killed recently, Dalton is 11, and this is his second deer. way to go buddy, its an eleven pt. not sure on the weight but pretty heavy for around here!!!!!!

I was thinking the same thing. You guys should know by know that deer have evolved to the point where they can only be killed by magnums and short magnums. Heck even back when guns like a 30-06 would kill them a 30-30 was already too little gun. Big bucks like that can't be killed with a lever gun. So, despite a convincing imitation of death that deer can not really be dead.

Seriously though. VERY nice buck. Especially for an Alabama deer and only the kids second buck. Congrats!!!
