I use the Spyderco triangle sharpener also. It is great. I've also heard good things about the redi-edge sharpener, but I haven't actually used one.

DMT Whetstones are the best that I've ever used by far. I've used the Lansky style sharpeners and they DO work great, but to me, they are too much trouble. JMO

I use a Smiths or a Lansky style sharpener because that is the only way I have been able to put a perfect edge on a blade. I have seen guys who can put a razor edge with just a stone, but I have never been able to.

Never could put a decent edge till I got a Gerber diamond impregnated metal stone. Only 15 bucks and works great!!!

I use a Smiths diamond / metal stone. It gives me razor sharp edges in just a couple of minutes. I have never been able to get a blade as sharp as I can with this. They are pretty cheap too. I picked mine up at Lowes for $15.
