RE: who rightfully killed this deer

My one friend shot the deer first and broke one leg about off with just a little meat hanging and the bullet also tore the other leg up pretty good
Not a kill shot sorry no deer.

Well it was down but they ran up there and it got up...well the same friend shot it again right below the spine and told the other one not to shoot because it was about to go down from those
Well this might be a kill shot so now he has a claim. To bad he proably wrecked the back straps.

but he shot and it got it in the but from the side and it still went and fell over.
Well there goes a good portion of the rest of the meat.

I'd proably let anyone who wanted to tag it and shoot a deer I could get some meat from.

his other shot just missed the spine
So let me get this straight ...your standing over a wounded deer and miss form there ? You should feed the needy with the meat !
Then go to the range and practice.

The guy that atempted to shoot it first get's the carcus!!!!!!!!!!!
Using that logic my high school baseball coach has owed me a 30-06 since 1985. He took me deer hunting in 1985 and I shot at and missed a monster buck two days later he went to the same stand and killed the deer I had missed. He entered it in a big buck contest and won a 30-06. I guess I'll have to call him and demand what is rightfully mine. Should I charge him interest? Maybe the 30-06 and a .22 to cover the interest. I'll be sure and let you all know how this works out for me.

i was with my two friends hunting and they were up the hill from me. My one friend shot the deer first and broke one leg about off with just a little meat hanging and the bullet also tore the other leg up pretty good. Well it was down but they ran up there and it got up...well the same friend shot it again right below the spine and told the other one not to shoot because it was about to go down from those but he shot and it got it in the but from the side and it still went and fell over. i think the one that shot it first should get all credit since he put the shot on him that took him down and the chest shot and he was about to go down.
Any time yer gonna argue over it, the shot closest to the heart gets it. If yer smart you'll get a new hunting partner and spend some time on the range together before next year.
