Default 2004 Buck (pic)

Well the pic is a small file but I don't have a better one yet. This guy dressed out at 207 lbs. Too bad he had his whole left side busted off in a fight. He had some deep puncture wounds that were scabbed up pretty good on the top of his head. He took some pretty good jabs after he lost half his head gear.

Took him with my .30-.30 on Tuesday Nov 2nd. Came running out of some thick brush and tried to sprint across the 70 yd wide gas line I was covering from my tree stand. Shot him down through the front and out under his front leg from about 55 yds. Dropped on the spot.

Thanks Carp. I just about have the rack ready for the wall. I held it up beside the others and it does add a nice bit of character as you say.

You might find the other antler nearby if you check around after the season is over.A friend of mine found the other half of an antler of a buck he shot.

I didn't know about ebay antlers?! That place seems to sell everyhting. Are they real antlers or replicas?

I am planning a early spring shed hunt on the property. Might get lucky and find the other one.
