I seen the posting about smoking in the stand....check this out .....you guys dont have to believe but its the honest truth....a friend i used to hunt with back in Georgia....his grandfather had several thousand acres we used to hunt. There were permanent stands all over this property. His grandpa had one stand he call "Chew Hill" and he always hunted there for heck probably 20 yrs or more. Anyways the old man always had a plug of tobacco in his mouth and hed sit up there and spit off the side in same spot everytime he hunted. Do you know every deer he killed he shot while the deer had its nose where hed been spittin' all them years. True Story just had to share it!!!

I heard from someone that chewed Redman that deer liked the smell of the molasses in Redman.

im not sure if it was curiosity or what but everytime they would stick there nose right on the ground and the funny thing is he was never in the woods that long maybe 2 hours tops and he was back at camp waiting for us with the 4wheeler and sure enough dang deer would be laying 5 feet from his 'spit pile" everytime
