scrape or rub or trail???
Where would you put a camara?
Rain the past 2 days so I went
Out scouting this morning and found a brand new rub and abuot 40yards away 3 scrapes ,then theres the trail that had what looked to me a party of 20 deer. Its a sandy area that gets cleaned up when ever it rains

RE: scrape or rub or trail???
Put it on the scrape, that buck will vist up to 3 times a day and if you drop some buck urine on the scrape you will cause the buck to stick around, to see his competition/intruder.
The trail is made by a bunch of does and the bucks aren't as likely to be with them yet, though in indiana it appears it will be an early rut. Made a mock scrape last year, becuase the buck I seen wouldn't use a predictable trail, set my camera up on the same tree i made the mock scrape on, and got one good pic of the buck about a 1/2 hour before daylight.

RE: scrape or rub or trail???
I ended up putting it on the scrape, with some trails end.
Did this 2 a couple scrapes
Got nothing.
So yesterday I put the camara on a fresh scrape without putting any stink around it.
I'll check today
