Default I've seen a wierd buck !HELP!

I've seen a wierd buck by my sisters house. Its HUGE. I think it would go around 160 or 170 easy. The wierd thing is, is that its antlers are solid BLACK. Ive never seen one like it before, i thought it might be old velvet, but i looked closer and he dont have any velvet. Has anyone seen anything like this before?

How cool would that look hanging on your wall!?!?! What do you need help with, SHOOT IT! I know that Bucks with bleached out antlers are more active out in the sun and the darker antler Bucks stick to cover. Maybe this guy has never left home, you know, mom and dad too protective. Good luck.

I have noticed here that deer in different areas tend to have different antlers shades. Around my farm the antlers are lightly tanned and the occasional almost bleached set. My buddy farms 15 miles north of me and all the antlers there are a deep deep chocolate brown, almost like a black. The land by his place is alot heavier so possibly the minerals are to blame. Not sure but yes i have seen bucks with almost black racks.

Color is almost entirely a function of the kind of tree they are rubbing. Each tree stains slightly different...some like walnut is a stain, others like cedar is anoil/sap that gets dirty
