good year this year have taken 5 deer 3 does an eight point and a 10 that got a trip to the taxidermist idon't really know many ihave killed usualy get a couple each year most of my deer are killed with my bow .this year i took 3 with my bow (you must shoot 2 does before you shoot your second buck) I shot the other 2 with my muzzel loader

Matched my age this year, with 51 deer.
New York used to issue Party Permits that would allow you to take a buck or a doe, so I used to take all bucks. They changed that a couple of years ago so it's now a doe permit or two. Now I usually fill my doe tags first then go after my buck. I keep a diary of all my hunts but I'm just too lazy right now to look thru the books to get a count for each.

I can't give an exact number, but its way over 100. I killed my first twenty five years ago. I hunt with rifle, bow and muzzleloader. My state allows multiple tags in each season. This year you could have taken as many as eight or nine deer, depending on which counties. Most years I take five or six. The most I've ever taken in one year was eleven, ten whitetails and one mule deer, hunted three different states.

In 11 years:

17 deer (each deer had one body)
10 bucks
7 does

5 bow
1 pistol
8 rifle
3 muzzleloader

been hunting 9 years and have taken 8 deer..
4 bucks biggest being 117 p&y 10 point, 2 nubbin bucks and 2 large does..4 with a gun and 4 with a bow...passed up many does over the years..only take what i can eat and no more.

Probably between 50-60 in the last 15 years. About 1/3 of those with a bow. Not really sure. Usually avg about 3-4/yr. Probably 50/50 bucks to does. Have let hundreds walk. Killed a handful of NICE ones, but still looking for the BIG one.

Hunting archery only, as I have so far, I have a big whopping goose-egg. Couldn't get out as much as I wanted, but I've got one weekend left here in IL. Going to try out my new treestand. first one ever.
