I have been bowhunting every year since 1969 except for the 4 years when I lived in British Columbia. Hunted in Fla. and N.C. most of my life and now I have been hunting here in Montana for 5 years. The funny thing about it is, I still don't know didely. Bobby

Started as a "bird dog" pheasant hunting when I was 9 (42 yrs)

Small gaming with a pellet gun, .22 and shotgun at around 11. I don't think it was technically legal in my state but I was on private land. (40 yrs)

First deer hunted with gun at 14 yrs of age (37 yrs)

First duck hunted at 23 yrs of age (28 yrs)

First bow hunted at 27 yrs (24 yrs)

First muzzle hunted at 36 yrs (15 yrs)

I'm 34 I have been hunting for 21 years, 18 years deer hunting. It took me 12 years to get my first buck, my second buck was the following year.

I occasionally went pheasant hunting on the farm where I grew up as a kid, but after completing college in 1981 I did not hunt again until 2002. It would hardly be meaningful to claim I have hunted for thirty years when there is a 21 year intermission in the middle!!!
