Default cost per pound

Film guy 2 got me thinking...how much does venison cost you per pound. When you look at equipment costs plus food and beverages, travel, processing cost, plus your license. How much do you think it is for a pound of venison?

I don't even want to know !!!! and what happens when you go a number of years without getting that deer ??? My God, I'm going bankrupt by going hunting every year, LOL !!!

If I depended on bagging game to eat and survive, I'm going to starve and die !!!

It's a heck of a lot cheaper than the therapy I'd need if I didn't go hunting!

I don't hunt for the meat, so it doesn't matter to me. I guess if you have a local place to hunt, don't buy gear often or ever, wear regular clothes, butcher your deer yourself among other things, it would pay. Just isn't worth it to me. I hunt for enjoyment not for a living. I do enjoy eating deer once in awhile, but I wouldn't want to live on it. I know some who do though. Some enjoy the whole process, and that's great.I just like to hunt.
