Nice. Very nice. That young 6 point is going to be a fine deer, but let him live a couple of more years!! Acorns and water, a nice mix.....

Hey groundhunter dont worry he will live if I can help it.I only let a couple buddies hunt here and they know not to shot a young deer.We take enough does to keep the herd balanced. So we get plenty of meat. There is also a feeder throwing out corn at the creekbed.I have a stand about 80-100 yards up the creek. The feeder brings in lots of deer and with the does coming in,the bucks hopefully will follow.I have never seen a mature buck at the feeder during the day but they will skirt around and come in checking for does so thats why I hunt that stand sometimes.
