GH settle down the pictures are not easily distinguished to be the same deer, I could easily see why some say are you sure it is the same deer b/c the 2 pic are in stark contrasts of each other. When I first saw this pic last fall it looked like it was enhanced based on the size of the rack vs the hunter....before you come further unglued that was my immediate impression . The deer looks emmense pictured in the field photo but in the shoulder mount not nearly as impressive and quite obvious deductions are visible not just a kicker/sticker here and there. Not to say it isn't a great deer but B&C is based on Typical and Non Typical growth, if that is not what a hunter likes other scoring systems like Jackie Bushwhack's are available to them.
Really moot it as all about the persons feeling who took the animal than a book or score. I am a trophy hunter but trophies do come in more than B&C net score.
Any 4x4 that nets 150 is a helluva an animal in my books..so the hunter should be proud regardless of what B&C may say.

The point of the post was "not if the two pics match", but rather the B & S scorining system. This guy killed a dang good quality trophy deer, and probably feels less about it since the official scoring. B & C scores aired, and takes away for antler growth which is not perfect.
Think buckmaster.com.................a new breed of scoring. They count what should be counted, the growth.
