The area i hunt, no matter where i hunt on the property it always seems that right when the 9:00oclock bell starts ringing across the river, i can expect to start seeing deer. What about everyone else, when do u start seeing deer in you neck of the woods?

The deer population where I hunt is low - less than 10 deer per square mile but I would say the majority of our deer have been see and taken from 7-9:30am. Of course we can see deer any any time and have shot deer at every hour, but those mornings when the weather is cooperating and the other animals begin their movement, we can expect tp see deer.

usually in me and dads honeyhole one of us has a deer dead at first light......were not horn hunters or trophy hunters....a nice mature doe usually does just fine....but we see deer from first light on and usually have to many deer dead by 9am to keep hunting so we havet ot drag out before the pile gets too big......

i would say that deer usually start running past my stand before daylight, but they slow down right at dawn, then pick up again between 8:00 and 11:00.

as soon as its light enough to see a hundred yards or so I can expect to see deer. Never knwo what direction, but on most mornings I can expect to see deer early.
In the evening, if we havent seen any by 5pm (after the time change) then 5 is when we expect it, we call it the magic hour, the land just errupts in deer
