In the country I hunt a score of 110 could be the deer of a lifetime. My best was an 8 pointer scoring 141 7/8.

Big bodies, but the big racks are few and far between.

The racks are (generally) best up by the lakehead where that guy from Louisiana poached a deer that would have been the provincial record last year (at about 192 points). The current record is about 189.

That deer I shot probably field dressed about 250 lbs which is big, but there are bigger - he wouldn't have won any big buck (weight) contest I've ever entered. My last decent buck weighed 197 and scored 112 as a 9 pointer.

You need 140 to make the provincial record book.

I've got one of "those" bucks that gets a different score nearly every time someone looks at him.

160 1/8" was the first score, then I got 165 3/8" but I've had as high as 195" when it was scored as a non-typical. The problem is what can be called the G2 on the right hand side is in a strange place that can be called a forked eyeguard. I'll take a score of 160", I know there isn't another buck on the planet close to this one in rack character or the fun of the hunt as far as I'm concerned. There are two abnormal points you can't see in that pic that total 10" in length and the right main beam is 4.5" around at the center.



This is my first buck that wasn't a cull.

Well tough to say that is a character rack. Its a awesome deer but I guess I would be surprised at even a 160. Your obviously talking gross score right? What is he a 9 pointer? You need to have him officially scored. I would guess him around 130-140 gross tops. IMO.
