Do any of you go out before the season actually starts and sit in a stand to take pictures and watch the deer move? Ive thought about doing it a few times but never have.

Ive thought about it, but alwasy afraid of giving up my position before the season starts. I want it to be a surprise for them when I get in my stand.
I do however take alot of pics when I can of deer while Im driving the backroads.

We will put out about 6 cameras around the first of September and keep them out till the middle of October. We move them about once a week.

Went scoutiing for the fist and last time i only enter my hunting spot once a year before the season opens. It was hot, spider were a problem, spider webs everwhere you went. It did seem like the deer were all hanging high instead of the usual low, someone might have planted some crops this year.
