no different than a pigmented deer .
I hear those pink eyeballs are considered a delicacy ...
I would take him . Although I don't care for mounts my wife would probably insist and pay for it . Kinda hard to turn that down , and I'd still have meat in the freezer .

I've been watching a piebald doe for 2 years....this fall she will be 2.5....I have plans for rug if I can kill her. I've watcehd her from fawn till now. I see her regularly....she's old enough now to become fodder and decoration....if I have my way she will be just that.

Don't want to say your wrong. But that is not a true albino deer in that picture. You can see that the eyes are brown, and the nose is dark. What you have there is what is called a leucistic phase whitetail. They are all white, but without the pink eyes or nose. It's actually a piedbald deer without the brown. All true albino's have pink eyes, and a pink nose. They have no pigment what so ever in there body. Here's a picture of a true albino deer.

that albino buck in Bukmastr pic is far away & its hard to tell if there is any pink or no pink at all in it so ask him if it is

great mount and a nice pic in ohio we shoot albino and pie bald deer we normaly let the young hunters or first timers take em it really helps our sport when the young uns get a real trophy there is a group of us who will get together and help the young hunters get game some times its rabbit or squirrel or birds with our network we have there are guys with bird dogs rabbit dogs bow and gun hunters on special occasion for the sick/handicaped kids we have some private land we use for them no one else is allowed on the private land we are currently tracking a deer now that might be albino he has only been seen at night so far im hoping my son who is deer hunting for the first time this year gets a chance to see him

In a deer-rich area, no I would wait for another buck.
In my area, YES, Poaching is vicious and year round. If I didn't take him in legal season he would surly be killed illegal, out of season

The meat is no different, the albino deer dosen't produce skin or eye pigment. That's the only difference from a normal deer.
