The Zaft is the nicest looking one IMO, even though it's not the biggest.

I'd be happy to get any buck near that size.

Here are a couple fake Typical Whitetails. They're pretty cool to look at though.


This is a classic fake "world record" typical. An anonymous person in 1997 claimed the deer had been shot by his/her cousin and would net over 229 points, easily No. 1. Of course, there was no proof to back up the claim.


In 1998, Mitch Rompola claimed to have broken the world record with this super-wide typical from northern Michigan. But he never entered the rack into any record book or even proved it was real.

I would love to have any of them within range but I like the Zaft and the General. They just seem to set it off for me.

ALL of them. By the way, the Rompola buck is real. This guy has been run-down by the hunting industry because he's a do-it-yourselfer and doesn't go along with the status-quo. I've been told by acquaintences that live in that part of MI that he has no less than 10 bucks on his wall that would place high in the record books. I've seen racks hanging in barns in MO that would easily go in the 180 or better range(typical). Not everyone is interested in fame and don't need their ego's stroked by a bunch of weekend warriors. There are those out there that still hunt for the pure beauty of the experience of it, not as a contest. That being said, any of those racks would give me an awful case of buck-fever!

i would have to go with the buck that lovenstuen shot over in albia iowa. haven't seen it in person, but isn't it supposed to be one of the top (if not the top) hunter killed whitetails?

Not being partial because I live in WI, but the Jordan buck is truely awesome IMHO...I have always been a freak for MASS, and that bad boy has it!!!!!!!!!!
