what should i do about my tree stands
This woods I hunt is about 30 acres I have two permanent stands and one hang on. I want to add other stand to this woods. where I want to hang this stand is back in the corner of woods that meets up with a fence row. my closest stand is about about 3/4 across the woods. Is that to many stands for this woods?

The number of treestands won't effect the deer any, it is the human pressence that does that. Being your dealing with a small parcel of land here, I would think more treestands setup for different winds and only hunted on the right winds(not marginal) would be a good strategy. Just make sure you don't have a bunch of overlap on your stand placements and force the deer to alter their patterns. If your plan to built one head out now and then follow up in late summer/early fall to trim your shooting lanes.

I'm in indiana too, came from NH last October. I'm amazed at the number of stands I see in relatively small woods. Deer don't give them a second look, unless there's someone in them on a regular basis. If you alternate sitting in your stands, and/or select the best one based on wind each day, adding a stand won't cause a problem. Just make sure to get it out there in plenty of time to get the deer used to it.

I didn`t think it was possible to have too many stands. I currently have 7 tree stands and 2 ground blinds on my 42 acres. Different stands depending on the time of the season and wind direction. Some might be better for mornings and others for evenings. It is always good to have options.
