Yes, rwilson this is the rack that was at the Dixie Deer Classic. It won the President's Award. It was found nailed to a wall inside an old building or barn. It had been there awhile. It looked old and may have been the world-record 8-point at the time it was killed.

Thanks, creekhobo.
Don't know about all the flak about whether it scored this or that. Just said that the DDC scored it 180.

I'm not trying to stir up a ruckus but I'll not believe that deer in the photo will score 180 until I witness it being scored myself. It just doesn't look like a 180 class deer to me. I will eat my helping of crow if it's ever proven, until them I ain't buyin. I believe it's possible for an 8pt to score 180, I just don't think that's it. JMO

I believe it is possible. Add a couple of inches to the measurements of Creeks and there you have it.

Here is a buck that was killed in East Texas this past deer season. He is an 8pt. that scores 172"+. There were two 170"+ 8 point bucks killed in the same county a few miles apart from each other in East Texas this past deer season. I cant find the picture of the other one.

If anybody can post the picture, I would apprecitate it. you can go to http://www.texasbiggameawards.com and see this buck(look under region 6) plus you can see all the other big whitetails, muledeer, and pronghorn antelope that were killed in Tx this past season.
