I had the same problem this year. more just cause it was wet wtih moisture though. It almost cost me my buck this year, but luckily I started to work in time. I'm definatley going to switch to an inhaling call, its not worth the buck or the frustration to use the same call.

I use the Knight n Hale Ez Grunter and don't have a problem with freeze - ups. With this model you can blow or inhale, but I do find the blow sound to more to my liking. The key for our climate is keep the call inside your coat if you plan to blow it! I will also cup my hand inhale and exhale to free the reed if extremely cold.

I am sorry but anybody who uses any blow call in our climate and claims of no problems well I call........(you know)!

What's all the fuss about here? My grunt call never freezes, unless the temperature drops below 32 degrees. [8D][8D]
