Don't think so. It looks to be a 6-8" diameter pole. If so it's a nice buck making that rub.

Any chance of putting a trailcam nearby?

Looks to be from a deer that's a little bigger then a spike or a 4. If it's not a bigger deer, it's a smaller deer hitting that an awful lot!!!!

If you look at it closely there are gash marks from the tines pretty high up the pole. Higher up than a yearling would be able to reach. Looks like the work of a mature buck to me.

I noticed you just joined the board...welcome. I'm
assuming you are a beginning deer hunter based
on your question or maybe it's ment to be humerous?
Small bucks do not rub telephone poles...for that
matter, very few bucks do.
