Jd, i seems you might as well sell your gun, sell that property, and never hunt again, because no deer would ever go near that supposed scrape;)

it must have been made by aliens

or alien deer that dont know the rules

or, as i suspect from looking at your picture, a 146.5 lb, 7 pointer with a 5 inch g2, a 4 inch g2 and a 15. 7/8" spread with a bum leg, cataract in the left eye, and a bad tick scar on its forehead.
:D
good hunting , man, trust YOUR instincts

a couple of years ago me and my uncle where out hunting and came across a huge scrape, uncles about 5'9" and stood next to the scrape and raised his bow up and didn't come close to the top of the scrape, we didn't have a camera at the time, but we carry one now

LOL, Moose, I think you hit this one on the head (all of my guns are for sale)...Swamp, did someone pee in your cornflakes? I've been on these forums for a while and never heard someone so angry over a picture. Man, you gotta learn to relax! I will take your advice and bring a book and maybe even ask nubo to join me:D I think if you sat in a tree stand and learned what hunting is about, you wouldn't be so adomant about what the deer is doing at this SCRAPE. As for my expertise...if you look at my profile, you will see just a couple of my deer I have harvested and been "lucky" to "come across". I have hoards of other pictures of trophys I have been fortunate to take in the past, but I choose to share them with felow sportsman, not braggers and know it alls. I respect what you have to say about your knowledge of deer behaviour, but you don't come on here ranting on what you think is right and how others are wrong. It's a fourum to voice our opinions, not belittle one another. Learn a thing called respect!
It makes me understand what type of "deer hunter" I am dealing with when you have a comment like "Northern deer are no diffeent than any other". That speaks volumes:D:D
You may comment (I'm sure you will) but I'm on to better places...good luck! JDinAB
