Besides the bathroom, its the only place I can think or get quite time. Realy love being out in the woods just taking in all the scenery, words arent good enough to describe the feeling it gives me.

I love a good hardwood creek bottom too!
Whether hunting , scouting, or just walking, you're pretty glose to heaven when you're in the woods!

I dont understand how people can not want to be in the woods. I love it. I like it best in the spring, mainly for the gobblers, but any chance I get I make sure to get out to the woods!!

the woods are my favorite place to be, i used to love fishing but then i became old enough to hunt and now thats about alls i do.I mean i still love to fish but watching big game animals and hunting them is just exhilerating.

You all are feeling what the Native Americans once felt on nearly a daily basis. Now that would be living. I can also see how it must have been pretty tough having to give that up and assume a more "civilized" lifestyle. Are we really heading in a better direction? To go back and sit round the campfire with Jeremiah Johnson or Jim Bridger a couple hundred years ago that would be living.;)

Woods is Paradise for me, I hate to even leave the woods to come back to civilization...

I agree with you all! In the woods is like being in Paradise. I also love being
on a lake when the sun is rising and there is a little fog on the lake, man, it cant
get any better! ;):):D

Absolutely no doubt...love being in the woods. Obviously I love fall with the rifle or bow in hand, but I gotta tell ya, one of my favorites is in spring right after the snow leaves the ground. This is THEE best time to scout for your next year spot. Rubs still look fresh, scrapes too, as they have been covered by snow since they were made the previous fall. Sheds can be found, and it is an awesome cure for cabin fever!!! For me, this usually means the first part of April up in the snow belt of Wisconsin.
