One question? what is the brownish/yellow stuff covering the skull plate?
I do my own mounts very similar, i make a nice round mound of drywall compound over the skull plate which has been attached to a circle of plywood, sand it smooth when it is dry. Then cover it with dark brown velveteen and mount it on a plaque. Your brown stuff looks like some type of foam? how did you do it? Curious and always looking for a better way to do things.
