Deer can shed anywhere from late december until april.I know guys who found fresh sheds as early as dec 19th of 03.I've been out twice here in P.a and I've only seen 1 buck still packing both sides .But I have'nt found any yet either.We are getting alot of snow just now so it will be awhile before I find any I'm sure.


Tame or pin raised deer cant be judged the same way wild deer are.They dont have to worry about there next meal or being eaten like wild deer. There fore they dont suffer from stress like wild deer do.

here in new york they already shed i seen a buck 10 feet away with its horns shed

Here in ontario the bucks are starting to shed there antlers,at least in my area,would normally start mid jan to late feb:D

found a half of a 10 pointer the second week of january during our 3rd season. saw a nice 8 pointer about 4:00 this afternoon so i guess it depends on the deer
