Do you turkey hunt? Get out and scout. You can find out as much or more by post season scouting than pre-season. You can find out how the deer may have changed their course to react to hunting pressure. This will help you know where to go next year during a lull in the action.

Move to Alabama, it's still deer seson until January 31st. Or we have nice ranches down here if you wont to spend the money. You can go to Buckmasters.com and look under outfitters and then go to Alabama. There you can look at all the differant ranches. If you have the outdoor channel and ever see an advertisement for a place called "The Roost" it's in Alabama.

I miss it too! But I still spend time in the woods! Shed hunting, scouting new stand spots, working on mineral licks, working on food plots, putting up new stands, moving bad ones, working on trails. There's tons of thing to do!
