My wife was into it at first. She liked the hunter's safety course, was a good shot at the range and actually had a shot at a PA black bear on her first day in the field. I thought she'd be hooked for life. That bear encounter couldn't have been a better first day experience. However, after a few days in the stand under high winds, sleet, driving snow and fog, she decided that she liked sitting by the fire better. If she's up, she still helps me gut and drag and take pictures. She appreciates the sport but hates the weather.

I have been hunting for three years now but the weather does get to my feet.
Just took the bow hunting course last year so i need to practice more for that.

Well not yet, but in 2-3 years my twins will start hunting, right now they are ******s.

My fiance hunts. She'll start bowhunting this fall....she's excited! She hasn't had the opportunities to hunt fro the last couple because of college. Good news though....she's going to be an elementary teacher! She won't teach negative material!
