Calander year about $1,000, but if you just want to go with what I spent on this past hunting season I would say about $300.

I almost hate to say it, but I know it was pricey for me this year!! Hope next year isn't quite so bad. Without going into details, my total is at least $3950, and that doesn't include arrows or ammo. Ouch! But we did shoot six deer, so that brings the meat price down to about $15 a pound. Enjoyment is priceless!

Where does one start.

Deer lease, $1500.
Feed, $500,
Tags, $50.
Ammo $50.
Misc goodies, $300.
New .260 for my two new young hunters, $500.
Gas, $200.
Processing, $300
Taxidermy, $400 X 4

So 5K bucks, thanks for pointing that out. Well keep that quiet from mama.

But we have had a great season, 4 bucks, 2 does and one weekend left to go before mama shuts us off.
