I hate peta 2, I went to purchase my deer tag two years ago and they where then raising hell about me buying a tag, I Got peed and said listen Lady,
If you dont like hunters why not go out in the woods deer season wearing brown,
And Walk around looking for hunters out there to talk 2. She says You a cocky Kid, I said why dont you stfu and go back to Mc.Donalds eating you Burger,She goes we dont eat meat, I said yeah guys arent dumb enough to let you *if ya get it* She said screw u I laughed then said Well I hope you get CWD i said Yeah thanks im glad to see someone who cares, She got pissed hen left in car and left fast,Cop was near by she got pulled over I laughed sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Hard, then we went by I waved.

That was probably the greatest thing I have ever heard! Making the PETA suffer!

I just fell out of my chair reading that one.

I pretty much stay to myself. And hunt by myself except when rarely invited or invite a person I know I can put on a deer and they appreciate it. I do go with a small group of dog hunting fellas and gals time to time and am mercyless picking on them, but all in fun.

One morning I was headed out, stopped at the country store for something. At the counter a fella asked if I was going for the big buck today. An individual sitting at a table with his back to us says, "Oh your going to take your big gun out and hide somewhere and shoot a defenseless animal".....and on and on for a few minutes till I turned around and says, "Well sir. When I'm not enjoying time in the woods, enjoying a dinner of fresh taken meat, making a vest from deerhide and such, I get frustrated and start jacking up equipment repair bills. Have a good day sir." The guy about passed out when he turned and realised I'm the one that repairs his lawn and garden equipment. Then he got a real sense of humor. "Well, Mr. C, I wish you success today." And out the door he went.

I later gave him a discount on a repair and invited him to a venison roast. We understand each others position on hunting, are now on good terms and discuss the subject like adults.

Some of the sheeple of america(PETA) just don't get it! Most of the people in Peta have never even been in the woods and experienced the joy of one of Gods intended plans for us: manage the wildlife. He put it on this earth for us to use and eat. If they think hunting is cruel, they have obviously never been in a slaughter house. The cows that they eat are stupid hopeless defenseless animals. I think that it is a lot more sad listening to a cow mooing all the way up that chute to the shocker. Than to beat a deer at his own game in his own turf playing by his rules. And then comes the desperate moos in pain when the cows are at the end of their road. It is enough to make me feel sad. it takes quite a bit to do that too. And like I said before, You can never tell how the beef was handled or what was added to it. But I don't hear the people in Peta Cracking on cow farmers. I don't know if they are just stupid enough to think that the store makes beef or if they just want to feel important and they stand up against a great part of our heritage.[:@]Oh well, we may never know.

Love 'em or hate 'em , we still have to live with these misinformed folks . By breaking the ice and starting a meaningful discourse Mossyhead has shown us all how a real sportsman can handle what could have been a sticky situation . I always try to be polite when confronted by antis , but Mossyhead is miles ahead of me with his tactful approach . Good going ! [8D]

Have you ever noticed the people who are in the PETA organization?? Most of them are really frail looking and live in cities where they have no clue as to the natural order of the world. Believe me, I commute from outside the MPLS area and there are some real stupid looking SOB's down here that definitely have their noses in the air thinking their sh*t doesn't stink. If it was the old days, I'd drag them out back and pound some dents in their heads but I fear it would be a serious waste of the skin on my knuckles!! They have a tendency to make themselves look like pasty faced idiots so that they can sit and whine about the state of the world. Most of them aren't fit to raise a family which gives them even more time to spout off about things that they haven't a clue about.

I welcome their input, always. Dad always taught me to study hard, listen closely and respond wisely. I suggest that more of us try to follow that advice. JMO.
