trophyhuntr Idon't think they did we looked pretty good in the fields and found no sign of a hit but did find quite a lot of fresh buck sign and the farmer next door saw a big 9-point with swelled neck chasing does monday must be a heavy second rut, so we aren't giving up yet. There has been a lot of real good bucks killed in forsyth county in the last 3 weeks plus one monster I heard of from Dawson forest

I'll also admit it, filled my out of state PA doe tag with a head shot at 35yds with my trusty Rem. 03a3 with open sights(the only way to shoot). Nothin' better than saving all the meat. I guess AKA eastwood just can't shoot that well!

Unless you plan to mount a doe, a neck or head shot would be the best way to save the meat. Congrats Trophy. It would be nice to see a few does around here. I haven't seen any while in the woods hunting this year.
