How to make blood trail
I guess this is a question for you hunting instructors mostly. Since deer season is over and my boys need some tracking practice how's the best way to make some fake blood?
Thanks in advance. JH |

RE: How to make blood trail
Why not go for the real stuff. Go to your local butcher and ask for some. I’m sure he could scrape some up for you and then freeze it for future use.;)]

I agree with trailer. Dont the dogs follow the smell of the blood? Seeing red wouldnt do much for a dog thats smelling paint fumes..

RE: How to make blood trail
you said your boys ; are you speaking of you deer dogs or real boys you want to learn to blood trail?
if it is dogs ; you will need deer feet and glands along with the blood , for the sent. if it is your boys, anything with a good red color with a shine will work.most any butcher shop should be able to get the real thing for you. |
