i dont know much at all but i doubt anything will come close to looking like blood in the grass and leaves.....use the real thing....i doubt a sub will do....anyone can follow something red....but blood is rarely red.....it has many shades and sometimes its near invisible because its transparent ect......there HAS to be a butcher or meat market around....even a grocery store meat department...unless your WAY out in the sticks theres gota be some place...

Who cares if it looks exactly like blood ? Show them what there looking for and let them follow the trail. REd paint would work, wouldn't it ?

lol, I was so confused. I thought you wanted to train your deer hounds to track a wounded deer.haha

ya, why not just red paint?
