I have found a couple sheds while bow hunting in early January. But also have seen bucks with head gear on towards the end of feburary while rabbit hunting. I have read that the bigger bucks tend to lose their antlers first. The only time you waste is the time you don't try. Good Luck

I don't think that Ohio would be much different than Nebraska. I have seen bucks with their racks on, inot March or even later.
