Default Drag rag techniques

I have done this some but not much and not much luck. How do you guys do it and what scents including brands do you use? Much luck with this technique, or should I just forget about it? Thanks, Scott Woody

I use drag rags alot. They work VERY well during the late pre rut and rut. This year I had 3 different bucks follow the drag trail almost like a beagle on a rabbit trail with the new rush creek scent I used lol. Drag rags have always worked very well for me.

During the rut and pre rut I use Tinks 69.During early and late season I use good ol'Walmart brand doe pee just to cover my scent.I think deer follow it just to see who the new lady is.

I shot a 21inch 9 point this year using a scent drag, the buck was very territorial so i put soem tarsal gland scent on it and brought it across the field to my stand, he came right in on it and i shot him while he was sniffing the rag
