That is about the biggest main beams in diameter I have ever seen. Any story to go with the picture? Also, no scent loc, army camoflage etc, but he was in the right place at the right time.:)

It was shot in Ontario - and rumor has it it was poached at night and DNR has taken the Rack. But who the heck knows No record though - 6 on one side and 5 on the other - major deductions Still huge though:D |

WOW! That things almost as big as a train! The mass on that thing is bigger than a telephone pole. I hope that deer isnt poached. If i ever shoot a deer that size & they said i poached it i would give them my one source of how they know i didnt shoot it at night. I was with thier sister the whole night. MUWAHAH! I am mean.....Nice deer hope he keeps it.

This deer was shot near Dryden one half hour after legal time and seized by MNR. It is estimated that the rack scores 41 points over the world record. It is an 18pt whitetail. I guess that this one will make it to the Wall of Shame in Dryden District MNR!

What the hell is that, and I thought I had mass on my deer this year 5inch circumfrence, this thing is 8 inches for sure I hope the wardens dont take it from him if he shot it a little after legal time.Heck if I saw that thing I would shoot it too half hour after legal time.No one going to see something like that again.

Dang I hate all the Rumors... Can't someone just get the real story and be honest... I mean you don't know weather to congradulate the guy or condem him... I mean a half hour after shooting light... How would anyone know that...?? Either way that is a MASSIVE Deer I really didn't know they grow that big, makes you wonder what he was eating he must have lived next to GNC...;)

 Tell the Mez he is one lucky dude. I'm looking at his left hand a fair amount up the left main and it's not even closed. If I ever had that monster walk by me I'd be messing my pants pronto. Must have called in a chopper to airlift that big boy. |

I think the photo is a FAKE. Doesn't look normal how the antlers come out of the head and there is a "flash" brightness on the deer that should be on the face of the hunter, but isn't.
Too many rumors floating around about this one to believe ANY of them. Unless Mez or someone else wants to give us the straight skinny, count me as a NONBELIEVER. |

I had that deer walk under my stand just the other day but had to chase him off. No way he would have fit in my freezer. Had to wait for something smaller. L.O.L.:D ITS A MONSTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This might shed some light.
The story is the deer was shot 1/2 hour after legal hunting time by a non-resident rifle hunter from Louisiana. He got cold feet and immediatly left the province leaving this and another deer hanging back at camp. The Dryden Ministry office now has the deer. The 18 point grosses 223+ and nets 199-7/8 green typical. 12" of non-typical and an unmatched 7" tine kept this deer from world record consideration. More info will become available after the investigation is completed. Rumour has it a larger deer may have been taken by two teenagers in the same area. Its a poached deer. I ran across this thread on another site. It clearly shows the buck, the mnr officer, and the caption telling about the situation, all from a local newspaper. I hope they throw the book at him!!!
