legal time is like 30 minutes before dark. and everyone know's that the best deer movement is in that 1hr to 30min before dark. That is a very stupid law.

Not in Ontario,, legal hunting time is from 30 minutes before sunrise, to 30 minutes after sunset. That gives you plenty of prime time to kill your deer. You shouldnt need Halogen lights to do it!

this picture shown here is a fake. if you want proof, go to the link that swampthing put up. the buck is not that huge. plus, look at the head on the buck. the damn tongue is the size of the guys head. totally fake. definitely go to the link to get a real sense of the deer.

Went to that Canadian thread above, Wow what a bunch there. Half hour past closing with car lights is a bit much, but I am sensitive to time. In Connecticut closing is sunset and it is real light out. If your talking the letter of the law game as many here do how many actually check time to the minute each day as the time changes. Seems quite a few on this thread admitted in the Bow forum to shooting late a few minutes or so, so whats the difference 10 minutes or 30 minutes. Any way nice deer.

If it was one minute past shooting time would you shoot?

ive been to numerous other boards and so far, i have heard that the article is a fake. the guy DID NOT shoot this deer after dark. in fact, it was shot approx 2 hours before sunset. the reason there is so much deception here is because there is a picture floating around with a game warden holding the deers antlers as the deer is laying on the ground. the picture is real, but its not because the deer was siezed, it was because the person that had harvested the animal started to recieve visitors at his home after the news got around.
