Thanks for the congrats folks; it' s been a LONGGGGGG time coming..lol Yes Plainsman BOTH are going to be head mounted...lol My cape is already in the freezer until I decide which taxidermist is going to get the job!

As funny as it sounds; YES, I DID have to turn the scope up to make sure he was a shooter. I have now included a pic of the view from my stand. The small opening inside the circle is where he came out, and the tip of the arrow is where I shot him. If you look at the picture, you can see how hazy(sp?) it is down in that marsh, and this picture was taken at 1:00 PM. I shot this deer just 13 minutes after shooting hours opened when it was still rainy and misting. The weather conditions at the time made it stay dark a bit later than normal; anyone here from WI can tell ya it was pretty crappy here Saturday morning....lol I hope this kind of gives you an idea of WHY it was hard to see him, so Lady Bow Hunter....this one' s for you. I don' t blame you for thinking it' s funny, but it' s the truth.
