I have just started hunting in LA after growing up hunting in TN. In TN where i hunted, rubs and scrapes started to show up early, 1 or 2 months before rut, but at my lease here in LA i have yet to see even one. Was wondering if there was a set time that they would start before the rut. Our rut here in southeast LA is the end of January so will they not start till Dec? I just got this lease and am trying to scout. I have seen a lot of sign and a couple of does. Thanks for the help.

That rack starts to really itch when the velvet gets ready to come off. So how about late summer early fall. I started seeing rubs this year in September in Texas.
