Where you eatting chili the night before? hehe.

Yep, deer can smell your " waste" , but I don' t think it' s a factor in hunting. I' ve watched deer walk right by places that I have wet before, and they never batted an eyelash at it, I' ve also had them go right up to it and smell it. Sometimes I pee right into a scrape I' m watching, and the next day it was all dug up again.

With all of the smells us stinky humans have, that would be the least of my worries.

If your find that urinating around your spot does spook the deer by chance, you can buy pouches that absorb the liquid and forms a non-leaking gel. The pouch seals up and can be thrown in the trash.

For the life of me, I can' t think of the brand name. I just did a search at cabelas.com and came up with nothing. I' m at work, so I don' t have too much time to look. If anyone else knows what I' m talking about, please enlighten us.

Snapple bottles seem to hold the right amount for a full day afield.

Aught Six (and everybody else ) -

I have a few of those pee-in-the-bag deals. They' re called Brief Relief (" The Portable Pit Stop" ). I picked them up on Ebay for about a buck apiece (plus shipping and handling, of course). They work exactly as you said.
