Who's still hunting?

I'll be out the next two Saturdays in PA trying to get a doe with either my .30-40 krag
Or my .44 mag revolver.

Two day late gun season in mid December in Ohio I'll have the kids out.

Then muzzleloader and flintlock season in January I'll have at least one Saturday spent flintlock hunting. I doubt I'll go out for Ohio muzzleloader. Unless the neighbors are putting on drives, I'll go push deer for them maybe.

Who's still chasing as the temps drop?

I am, worst yeaar in recent memory. I am seeing deer but not where I can get a shot. They are either moving too fast or in the brush or both.

I am too!. Got a small 4 pt with my .58 percussion rifle, a 8 pt with my T/C 44 magnum, and will be going for a nice meat doe with my .58 Flint lock.

Do you have a heater in that blinds OT?

A buddy heater and a propane tank make a big difference at the temps drop

Our opener is today, and i was able to do the morning hunt. Didn't see anything. I'll be hunting off and on through the next two weekends. We have an anterless season in January that wil give a couple of more days.

In the interim, small game.

Sounds like we'll all be getting cold over the next several weeks.

Good luck all
