Default Iv hunted for yearz never herd of this happening

I just heard few people talking about a cupple bucks that attacked and stomped a doe to death recently… iv know they do that to dogs, cats and people and other wild animals in the wrong place at that right time. But to do that to a doe just before they rute? Y would or what would make cupple good sized bucks kill a doe anyone have some insight. Fyi it was black tail deer not white tail if that makes a diffrence…
